14th Wigan St Matthew's Brownie Guides

We meet every Thursday (during Term Time) in the Youth Centre from 5.30 to 7.0p.m. and we are open to girls aged from 7 to 10 years. We do have a waiting list, which we are happy for any names to be put on.

A new programme called “Brownie Adventure” was launched in 2003 and we have all welcomed it with open arms. There are new uniforms and a “Promise Box” which a Brownie receives when she makes her promise, in which to keep special things, certificates and badges etc.

We have an interesting, varied programme for the girls teaching them new skills, progressing with skills they already have, new games, songs to learn (singing is one of our specialities).

We enjoy venturing outside and exploring the outdoors. We always have a trip out somewhere in the summer months.
